Ultimate Painting sign to Bella Union

Bella Union are thrilled to announce the signing of Ultimate Painting. The label has long admired the band who over the course of three excellent albums have defined a compellingly particular art-pop sound that marries the wiry minimalism of Velvet Underground’s third LP with the jangling drive of Flying Nun flagship acts like The Chills and The Beatles’ dreamy melodicism. The band are currently in the studio working on a new album which looks set to land in Spring next year, though in the meantime you can catch them at Mirrors festival in London this Saturday.
