Fiona Brice shares ‘Berlin’ video

Following excellent reviews for her debut album Postcards From, released in June on Bella Union, FIONA BRICE has just unveiled a hypnotic new video to “Berlin”, one of the album’s many beautiful tracks. Of the video Fiona says…

Berlin is about clarity, symmetry and growth.  For the video, I started thinking about spirograph imagery, and this led me to research drawing machines.  I found a drawing machine designed by Alfred Hoehn online (a swiss academic and artist) and with his kind permission, video artist Vesna Krebs flew to Basel and filmed the machine in action.  The result is a beautifully choreographed film, with no need for digital effects.
