Landshapes team up with Deep Throat choir for split cassette tape…
London-based all-female choir Deep Throat, known for their mesmerising vocal-and-drums arrangements of everything from soul classics to ’90s pop, will be releasing a limited-edition handmade cassette with Landshapes. Just 100 of these exclusive tapes will be in circulation, featuring the track ‘Palindromes’ performed by Landshapes and also the richly layered vocal odyssey version by Deep Throat. It arrives ahead of upcoming Landshapes’ album Heyoon, out 4th May on Bella Union.
They’ll be playing a show together, too – two members of Landshapes are actually in Deep Throat as well (Luisa, who founded the choir, and Heloise). Dates and info below:
