Bella Union @ The ICA this July

 

In celebration of the 10^th anniversary of the Association of Independent Music (AIM) week at the ICA Bella Union is very pleased to announce that it will kicking off proceedings with an evening on Monday 6^th July featuring Bella Union favourites My Latest Novel, Sleeping States, special guests Here We Go Magic and new signing Chimes and Bells.

 

Scottish quintet My Latest Novel create lovely, brooding music of epic proportions full of orchestration and intertwining melodies. In the surroundings of the ICA this show promises to be very special indeed. Sleeping States is a man called Markland Starkie who makes music inspired by WG Sebald and Franz Kafka and is considerably more fun than that makes him sound; on stage before him tonight are Here We Go Magic, a twinkling new Brooklyn band led by Luke Temple, a man as gently psychedelic as his magic music; starting off proceedings are Chimes & Bells, Danish creators of soothing, slow-motion pop.
