Wisconsin-born Stephanie Dosen released her debut for Bella Union A Lily For The Spectre in 2007 and soon became part of the family, initially moving to the UK where she become Massive Attack’s lead vocalist on their 2008 European tour, touring her own album with Midlake, and then guesting on their The Courage Of Others album. She has recently sung on 3 tracks on the new Chemical Brothers album ‘Further’ and then sang and co-wrote with them again for the theme song for the movie ‘Hanna’ starring Cate Blanchett and directed by Joe Wright. Stephanie and our own Simon Raymonde started a band a year or two ago called Snowbird and have been making an album with contributions from members of Radiohead, Midlake, and from Jonathan Wilson among others. It is rumoured to be close to completion.
